Sports relief calendar

Monday 10th February - Mindmaps were written based on the charity, live and pre recorded event. Once that was done in brief detail; I had to pick one of 3 as my chosen project for sports relief.

Friday 14th February - I began my pitch and proposal before hand explaining ;
Duration
Constraints
Health and safety
What will be needed
Location and much more in full detail as I would be presenting it to the class based on whether my idea would be achievable or not.

Monday 17th February 2014 - both were read over for any mistakes before having to present on Wednesday morning.

Wednesday 19th February 2014 - the idea had been present, barrington said it was achievable to be a live or pre recorded event.

Tuesday 27th February 2014 - 1hr 15 minutes the class discussed the changes as there isn't enough time with the production period for all charities or events to be produced. So all 17 students were split into groups or work solo overall myself, Ousama, Shqiponja & Lilliane & Ash grouped together to make insert which involved pre-recorded and lie entertainment.

Monday 10th March - From 12pm, we were waiting for the Tug of War event to start, which had been delayed for 35 minutes. Roles were discussed;
Ousama - editor
Ash - photographer
Shqiponja - producer
Lilliane - camera
Saffron - Audio & sound

Tuesday 11th March 2014 - as no event took place or sales stands were available to record. Lilliane and myself were able to over the footage we already had (secondary footage). A few needed to be re-recorded as the audio was a bit fuzzy or too low to hear.

Wednesday 12th March 2014 - around 12pm the sponging event was meant to take place, but it had been cancelled last minute. So using the rest of time we had, we recorded the enrichment area as pool and table tennis is played over there..

Thursday/Friday 13-14th March: nothing took place.

Monday 17th March 2014 - Lillane and myself filmed the stalls that students who studied business raising money for sports relief. They did not want to be interviewed but we were able to recorded them selling the drinks and snacks.

Tuesday 18th March - Ash & Shqiponja filmed more of the stalls, whilst Ousama began the editing with the footage.

Wednesday 19th March 2014- As Ousama was the editor, he asked Lillane, Shqiponja and myself to do last minute recording; as some of the footage wasn't focused or the audio wasn't loud enough for him to hear. Along with some vox pops
Of a few students based on sports relief or charity.

Thursday 20th March 2014 - any last minute recording was done to fill in any spaces within the insert; Basketball, Karate, Pool, Table tennis.

Friday 21st March; (Sport relief) I was a runner, as my job I was told to make sure that wires were out of reach, if any games or quests were made I'd be one of the people to sort that out and make sure it done. And to make sure the floor was running smoothly.!

Audio; Attack the block & Anvuahood

Attack the block: IMBD

Sound:
During the trailer, throughout the music is based on the film an alien invasion, so it is demonic which is very typical for a filmography like this. At the beginning, it is very subtle giving the characters to introduce themselves, as it gets to the middle and one says the work 'Alien' the music abruptly changes filled with explosions, a lot more bass and bangs with a techno feel to it. The FX enlightening the fact that there is an alien invasion.

Audio, Visuals &Sequences:
Consisting of flashing lights as it jumps throughout the violence at the beginning. Jump cuts and sharp shot changed are used to get straight to the point as if it drags the target audience 13-16 will become bored very quickly. With the audio and visuals, the young audience will be able to relate as it is stereotypical located on a council estate, along with the speak of the young adults (slang). The visuals also reveals what goes on on every estate; the crime, dress code ( which is slightly undermining). Like the groups of boys mugging the woman or the boys and girl meeting up which is routine for class E citizens; students.

Anvuahood: IMBD

Audio&Visuals:
In this trailer, the audio is based on 21th century slang. It is used throughout the whole trailer, it captures the target audience from the beginning as they are able relate and It will be more enjoyable for them as they can understand the characters are talking about. The visuals make it known the obvious that it is based on teenagers who want to become 'big in the streets'. A very typical storyline.

Narrative: The narrative is straight to the point, which is based on a comedy situation. It bounces from one problem to another, it was very predictable yet refreshing as you don't hear that everyday.

Transformers4: Age of extinction Trailer

Sequence&Imagery;
Throughout the trailer, it would fade in and out to jump cuts giving the audience an insight on what will be happening during the filmography as it isn't out until July 2014. The jump cuts keep it sharp and simple keeping you engaged and focused on what's happening in the trailer. The fades give you an understanding of something is going to happen next. Also analysing the trailer, during the clips, it would slow down so your able to observe everything in detail in the 7 second clip; too further add, as it gets to the middle the jump cuts and fades gradually being to speed up as danger is coming close to the end of the trailer.

As it is 3D filmography, if you pay close attention to the moving pictures you will see the 3D effect taking place.
With all these little factors, it would make the audience: wonder what's going to happen next ? Being able to make to make up their own story, as the producer and director have made the trailer non-linear but clear enough to show that there is a beginning, middle and end.
The characters have changed also, everyone will begin ask why?. The comments on YouTube, many viewers aren't happy that Shia isn't the main character anymore as he is was and will always be the leader of transformers.

Commentary:
Would specifically draw attention to those who are fans of transformers in general. For example: when the sub titles come up with Optimus prime's voice ' THE RULES HAVE CHANGED' would expect the reaction of excitement, confusion and anxiety. Where as those who have watched it before will feel slight excitement and tell themselves to watch it from the beginning to understand the fu concept or transformers and how it has changed. It makes the audience feel like they are part of film, along with as though they are being spoken to and sit down and question as it is being indirected to them.

Sound:
The music is luring, dark and demonic. It remains the same almost throughout the whole trailer, but once the clips become action filled with danger and violence; the music comes louder, darker with a lot more bass and heavenly sound representing death is upon us. At the beginning, the music is light as peace is at mind with the family until things change for the worst.

This can come across as oppositional pr preferred response.

Oppositional: is when a person that isn't the target audience will think badly towards to the other responses. Taking a bad look upon product.

The fact that the original characters; Shia LeBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson will put many off the film, as they highlighted all 3 transformer films
This will also offend the transformer fans because without even going into the filmography itself, they are highlighting new characters. Instead of thinking 'this is going to be better than the last one'.
The oppositional responses will be '  I'm not going to watch this, why are they changing the characters now.'

Preferred: is a response which the public will take from the product.

A variety will enjoy the thrill of action, violence. As this film will be embed a unrealistic image in the viewers mind, having them imagine that every be chile they come across will transform into a robot.

Unit14: copy to prezi

Task4: Twilight

Symbolic Codes:
Throughout the film, the codes are clear as day. One of the simplest codes used are colours. Red&Black. As it is a vampire themed filmography, red is might suggest DANGER, PASSION, LOVE and ETERNITY. Where as black is representing; EVIL and DEATH. During the first 2-6 scenes, the director has purposely exposed all the actors facial expressions letting the audience see that they are all expressing different emotions; doubt, confusion, pain, fear and many more. Not along are their faces explaining so much but so are their voices. Especially Bella; who has just become a mother, her face remains emotionless as she doesn't want to show fear but her voice reflect desperation in hope that her daughter is kept safe.

Technical codes: Starting with the camera angles, during the first 2 minutes; it was; establishment shot, mid reverse shot, extreme close up and again mid reverse shot. This camera sequence allows the audience to focus on the where the actors are, the facial expression and voices.
Onto the FX, which is continuously fading in and out only when the villains are talking or once danger is at it's peak. The sound in general is dark and looming, as danger unfolds the bass of a drum is announced or an applause of trumpets heighten.
Sound, including the FX; the sound of movement is loud and clear, engaging the audience keeping them focused on every movement made. For example; when both men are running in the snow, the crisp sound as their feet touch the drop is clear and slightly over exaggerated as in reality it doesn't sound like that.

Representation of people; For a vampire filmography, the director has taken a completely different approach on the character. During the 1980's-1990's, vampires were known for being 'ruthless blood-suckers', who has no mercy for the living. In twilight, the Collins and Bella are portrayed as the generations ideal male or female. Young. Attractive. Blemish-free. Youthful. This could be a unique selling point as this is nothing anyone expect, it wasn't stereotypical. Although is has the typical story line; the Average girl falls for the Amazing guy, this is the reason why it has successfully made a sequel 5 times. The old souls trapped in a high school wo/men's body have given this filmography a realistic exposure with human affections. Overall this deviates the old from the new, in way of how vampires have evolved over the years.
